Blokoto has finally reached its Alpha stage! Check out the details!
You heard that right, after a lot of work, sweat, tears & blood, Blokoto has finally outgrown the Pre-Alpha status, and now it just reached the next development stage, the Alpha 1! You may be wondering what has been changed so far, so let’s get right into it!
New Website Redesign
The game website design has just got a huge revamp, including some fresh changes covering the game settings, workshop and social media tab, and the player’s account login / register screen.
Website Customization
Alongside the redesign of the website, there’s new features regarding user customization, these include:
- Banners: The long awaited banners for your profile have finally arrived! You can purchase some unique scenes from the most beautiful maps of Blokoto in the store. We will continue adding new variety of banners over time.
- Themes: New themes throughout the website have been released! If you’re not a big fan of the current website appearance, you can go ahead and switch it along 2 options: Bright and Dark themes respectively, also added to the automatic setting for this.
- Avatar Portraits: You’ll now be able to customize that tiny icon which appears on your profile & your friends list with Avatar Portraits! You will be able to choose between a variety of different curated pre-made cosmetics, letting your profile be even more unique than it already is!
- Infinite Page Scrolling: Now there’ll be no more limits when scrolling through your social feed, workshop or any other tab, because all will be seamlessly connected along itself, allowing you to infinitely scroll it until you get tired of doing so! Our personal record was 17 hours and 38 minutes of non-stop scrolling through the workshop. Do you think you have what it takes to beat us?
- Minimizing Your Friend list: Do you want more space for yourself when browsing through user profiles? Fear not, the minimizing button for the Friend list has arrived to aid you! It’s a simple change really, but one that greatly enhances the comfort of each individual user, depending on what they think fits best for them.
Bug Fixes
- The issue of your account being log-out by itself has been fixed, this means that you will not have to log-in every single time again on Blokoto, due to periodically intended logouts that used to happen before.
- Email verification is now easier & less affected by bugs.
- The creation gallery that appears on your profile will not extend too further anymore, in case you have a whole collection of many avatars.
- Website translations have been updated, now including parts that once were not translated the right way.
