Since 2022, we have been building our sandbox platform by placing you, the player, in the center of its heart. Now, in 2026, we are working as hard as possible to bring the best experience to every builder and, especially, every player on the platform.

Ever since we started, we have received a lot of feedback from players from other platforms, and we feel like the best way to build a solid sandbox game is by making everything fun and closer to what you want to build and how you want to have fun.

This is why, this year, we are focusing not only on stability and scalability for other players from countries outside South America to play, but also adding full features based on what we know the community loves and wants to see.

Upcoming servers for Europe and USA

We are working very hard to make this possible. Since our game is based in Brazil, we are looking into expanding the reach for other countries to have smooth experiences in our games.

Everything on Blokoto is server-sided, that is; there is no way for players to use cheats that make them fly, walk faster than what is set or do things that the authority—in this case the server—disagrees with.

But this is a double edged sword! Hosting is more expensive and the architecture is much more complex. But we get rid of those pesky hackers that mess up game sessions, and this is a good price to pay.

Custom Game Modes and Quick Play

Sometimes you just want to enter a game and play it, and sometimes you want to make a game without dealing with the complexity of creating logic systems for it.

We are working on adding custom game modes to the game. Modes like Speedrun (for parkour and platformers), King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, Capture the Point, and other modes that will bring much more predictability for games and make them easier to find.

We are aiming for shorter, more packed and dense experiences, instead of dispersed ones that don't feel rewarding for players to play and for builders to build.

Quick play will also bring players together to the same maps. If you want to play PvP games, it is somewhat hard to bring all people together to different maps outside the most famous one. We want to solve this and make the game really fun to play.

More guns and weapons!!

This is something that we want to get it right! Weapons on Blokoto must be juicy, must feel good to use and must lead to satisfactory kills. We are making the weapons for the next versions of the game with that in mind.

Flamethrowers, shotguns, miniguns, pipebomb launchers, but the fortress is up to you!

Emotes and Custom Avatar Cosmetics

Sometimes you want to grab the attention of a friend far away or just taunt in the killcam to brag about your lucky kill. We get it, and we are all-in into adding emotes to the game!

With emotes, cosmetics will come too, and they will also have their utility in games as well. Players will be able to use them on maps that allow it, and some maps will be able to use cosmetics as custom equipment that give players some status effects. This one is something very big and we will be looking into how we are going to implement it.

Avatars right now are very customizable with multiple layers and a more precise 8-snap modelling system, but if you want to make big wings, higher hats and reusable face accessories, we have you covered.

Ground and Air Vehicles

One of the most exciting features I will be working on this year is vehicles. I want players to be able to create cars, motorcycles, planes, jetpacks, all of it!

They are so fun to make and to use, and I'll make sure to create them in a way that you can use different parts in different vehicles while also saving everything to the inventory.

Controller Support

Games that can be played with controllers must work with controllers. Blokoto will be extending controller support this year across multiple updates, so that players can play everything in the comfort of their chair or sofa.
